AUSTIN (KXAN) — May 6 through 10 is Air Quality Awareness Week, a week we all can learn a bit more about improving air quality. The theme this year is “Knowing Your Air.”
Rich Segal spoke with Amanda Mortl, Environmental Program Coordinator with the Office of Sustainability for the City of Austin. She explained the significance of what this week is all about and offered tips on what people can do to take care of Austin’s air.
She also helped highlight resources that inform people how to increase air quality awareness and encourage people to take action and utilize air quality knowledge in their daily living.
